Anchal Malik

Anchal (ESR- 1) is a PhD student from India working at Faculty of Biological sciences, University of Leeds, United Kingdom. She holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Banasthali University, India. She is working on the project entitled “Understanding how bacterial adhesins recruit host ligands”, under the supervision of Prof. Adrian Goldman.

The aim of the project is to understand how trimeric autotransporter adhesins recognise and bind host factors by exploiting structure biology approaches for identification of binding surfaces.
