Tugce Caykara

Tugce Caykara is a turkish PhD-student (ESR8) who is employed in Braga, Portugal. She holds a Tribos – Joint European Master’s Degree in Tribology of Surfaces and Interfaces and a Bachelor in Science with a Major in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul University.

Tugce is working on the development of an antiadhesive and/or antibacterial surfaces by modifying the polymers in Centi (Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials) under supervision of Dr. Carla J. Silva. Her supervisory team consist of Asst. Prof. Ligia R. Rodrigues, Prof. Volkard Kempf and Prof. Nicole Pamme.
